Thursday 03/12 - It was another warm morning but this time
it was overcast. Clouds were starting to move in on the mountains. The weather
forecast for today did say there was a 50% change of RAIN SHOWERS today with SNOW SHOWERS tonight.
We went to Keystone to skis and you could see the change in the snow by the
lifts. Also, all of the trees on top of the mountain had no snow left on them.
I think many of the skiers are staying on the same trails once they find good
snow. Well, the good snow didn't last very long and by 12:30pm, we returned
home. Another indication of the warm weather is the parking lot. It is one big
mud puddle. Maybe we will get some snow tonight to make the situation a little
better.
