Saturday 03/07 - Another sunny morning with the temp in the
mid teens by 9am. After a good breakfast, we went out on the lake and I met
some of my friends ice-fishing. They were out there since 10:30am and they
caught only 1 fish. But they didn't care because they had plenty of beer and
coffee. There were 3 or 4 other fishermen out there and no other fish were
caught. The fish must be hiding. After returning home, we had a good lunch and
then headed out to the Keystone Nordic center to go snow shoeing. The place was
packed with people mainly going xcountry skiing and tubing . By mid afternoon,
the temp was in the mid 40s. It was a beautiful day. After snow shoeing, I
thought about tubing, but decided to have a cold beer and Glenna had a glass of
wine. It was a LONG day and with day-light savings kicking in tonight, we
decided to stay at home and go to bed early. Tomorrow is suppose to be another
GREAT day.
