Friday 03/13 - Well we didn't see this coming. This morning
we had about 4 inches of new snow on the
ground. Benny certainly enjoyed it. It was a heavy wet snow, and by 11am, it
was all but gone in town. We went to Keystone and it was a beautiful sight. All
of the trees had snow again and it seemed that we were skiing in and out of the
clouds I don't think any of the runs were groomed and this made for a power
morning. . It was good skiing til 12 noon. By then, the snow had been scrapped
away and the ice started to show thru and the weekend crowds started showing
up. With sunny skies and warm temps in the low 50s forecasted for the weekend,
this new snow n the mountain will only be a memory.
