Monday 03/16 - Yesterday while Benny was running up and down
the snow pile chasing his ball, he broke a toe nail on his back paw. This
morning we had to take him to the Frisco Animal hospital to have it checked
out. The vet doctor said that it should be removed and it would be a simple
process. After it was taken care of, it was bandaged and a plastic bag was
rapped around it to keep it dry. He should be ok by tomorrow. Once we returned home, we decided to go to
Copper Mtn to ski. It was around 12pm when we got there and the temp was
already 51 degrees. The snow was already very slushy and we saw many people
falling and decided to quickly call it quits after 3 runs. When we got back
down to the bottom, there were pools of water mixed in with the slush. The best
thing we did was have lunch outside and enjoy the warm sun. Not sure where we
will go tomorrow to ski. Another warm day on tap.
