Thursday 03/05 - No snow but we are back to sunny and COLD
conditions. This morning it was -9 degrees at 7am. Thank goodness it was 0 at
8am when I walked Benny. The lake
reflected the markings of the many kite skiers that were on the lake yesterday.
We went to Copper Mtn so that I could try out
a pair of ski demos that I rented. I wanted to see if I would ski better
with a newer model ski. The trails we skied were all groomed with very few
skiers on them. The jury is still out whether I ski better. Maybe I will take
up bike skiing. I saw a person skiing ahead of me on the bike. It looked so
easy????
I brought the demos back and I rented a different model for
tomorrow to compare. Lets hope the temps
go up.
