Saturday 02/07 - It was another sunny warm morning. It was
36 degrees at 8am when I was walking Benny. After breakfast, we did some food
shopping and made plans to go to Breckenridge for the final weekend of the Ice
Sculpture championships. The town was packed with skiers and finding a parking
space, even in the pay lots, was difficult.
After parking the car, we walked around town and finally made our way
over to area where the sculptures were. With the temps in the low 50s and sunny
conditions, all we needed was a light jacket. But with the warm temps, the
sculptures were greatly effected. Many had already fallen down and the rest
showed signs of melting. Tomorrow is the last day and then they will be taken
down. We had a late lunch and returned home.
Tomorrow is suppose another warm day.
